Position Summary

Works closely with Portfolio Manager and other stakeholders on collation and consolidation of adequate project information in preparation of LATAM I&D portfolio decisions. Tracks LATAM I&D project status across the portfolio for review, discussion and decision making at the adequate governance bodies.

Ensures harmonized Development project and portfolio reporting following the same standards across the Business Units.

Supports development, implementation and maintenance of standard portfolio processes and systems/tools, such as improvement of existing portfolio reporting system in Latin America region.

Independently manages projects and special assignments such as commercial assessments for development projects or project management activities in support of portfolio expansion.

Collaborates closely with other functions related to portfolio management activities within/outside LATAM I&D.

Main Responsibilities

Guides and aligns all LATAM I&D stakeholders (development, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, market access, licensing and acquisitions) with overall portfolio process to collect relevant information (e.g. project status information and commercial assessment including value and costs).

  • Ensures accuracy and quality of portfolio information

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of portfolio reporting tools


Portfolio overviews including key parameters such as value, costs, timelines

  • Reports and presentations for Sr. management

  • Monthly summary/overview of all LATAM I&D projects incl. KPIs

  • Web-based portfolio reporting

Position Accountability/Scope:

  • Works under minimal supervision and guidance

  • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

  • Accountable for quality and timely delivery of portfolio analysis, status updates, and portfolio overviews

  • Responsible for reliable portfolio reports


Bachelor’s Degree - Finance, Business, Natural Science, or IT

Master’s Degree - Finance, Business, Natural Science, or IT

  • Advanced knowledge of multidisciplinary management and operations, and basic experience of 3-5 years in healthcare or consumer goods industry

  • Good knowledge of finance and/or portfolio management practices, commercial experience is a plus

  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in project management

  • Demonstrated abilities in communicating/presenting key information to executive management

  • Highly motivated and fast learner

  • Resourceful, well organized and committed

  • Self-starter, who follows up proactively and is eager to complete a job

  • Good interpersonal, excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong MS Excel skills, good knowledge of PowerPoint (create executive-ready presentations)
