JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Territory Manager Structural Heart to join our team in Norway.

The Territory Manager Structural Heart will be expected to work independently to drive revenue growth and account penetration within interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery. The role is field based with main focus on visiting customers and commercial people to maximize opportunities and deliver results. The territory area includes 6 hospitals in Norway.

The product portfolio of responsibility includes devices for congenital heart defects, left atrial appendage occlusion, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (as alternatives to open-heart surgery) and surgical valve replacement, the proven designs of our mechanical and tissue heart valves.

Primary objective of the position

  • Propose challenging and reasonable yearly targets and forecasts to management.

  • Work with the Sales Manager to develop and deliver on call plans and account plans in order to meet agreed revenue targets.

  • Deliver winning offers as response to tender requests.

  • Support Congress activities.

  • Support the business to drive revenue growth.

  • Use own initiative to respond to internal and external issues.

  • When tasks and responsibilities are assigned outside the scope of normal duties, the employee must understand the level of decision making for which he/she is responsible and if in doubt clarify this with his/her supervisor.

  • Provide technical support to implants and follow ups

Educational background and Work Experience

  • Strong commercial background within a marketing company environment at a Sales Representative level.

  • Experience (clinically or commercially) within cardiology.

  • Degree standard education in scientific or business discipline

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong influential skills – gaining commitment through effective influencing and stakeholder management. Able to get strong buy–in from customers as well as from management.

  • Strong selling skills on top of being excellent in building relations.

  • Strong teamwork and facilitation, effective at leading and being a member of teams.

  • Listens actively and responds constructively to needs and views of others.

  • Delivery; get the job done, meets or exceeds expectations and exhibits a sense of urgency on critical time dependent issues.

  • Persists despite obstacles and opposition.

  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize.

  • Self-drive to identify, initiate and implement projects independently of line manager.
