Manager Quality (m/f)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Quality System awareness and compliance in the Region:

  • Perform internal, supplier/ distributors audits as required. Prepare/ coordinate external audits.

  • CAPA management follow up and ensure closure.

  • Identify and coordinate improvement initiatives within the entire QS.

  • Actively seek internal/external customer feedback and respond to issues.

  • Ensure QS record keeping, Warehousing, Quality Holds, Supplier evaluation/ monitoring.

  • Coordinate Field Communications at the Region.

  • Ensure availability of org charts (including LSME) and job descriptions.

  • Perform/ ensure revision and approval of locally developed AdPromo material, appointment of language approvers and that it is documented in region org charts

  • Maintain/ challenge current certifications. New projects.

  • If there are EHS certifications at the Region, ensure EHS System awareness and compliance.

  • Ensures support to customers/ employees in EHS issues related with the life-cycle of products/ instruments.

  • Act as an expert for sales and customer support for accreditation topics, presentations and process implementation in sites where customer certification / accreditation is requested.

  • Coordinates communication between commercial organization and Regulatory to support responses in contracts and public tenders (QARA, EHS requirements).

  • Team/ MIMS Subject Matter Expert & Procedure Owner:

  • Be the expert on a QS process and support the rest of team as process SME. Be part of division process community and remain in contact with division process owner to provide input and suggestions on that process.

  • Review Abbott policies & procedures, and update Quality System documentation accordingly.

  • Receive audit input and follow QS Document Control Process.

Profile:

  • Scientific background (i.e. Lab Technician, Biology, Chemistry, Pharma, M.D.)

  • At least 5 years of experience in the diagnostic industry (commercial affiliate or manufacturing) / clinical laboratory/ Competent Authority/ IVD industry association

  • Management skills and leadership competencies

  • English and German negotiation skills. Other language skills desirable.

  • Experience to work in international environment/ projects.
