This role will:

•Work with established standards, guidelines, best practices, and produce metrics as directed by management

•Establish and maintain system specific documentation and operational procedures within the domain

•Perform incident and problem analysis and resolve escalated technical problems following established guidelines

•Participates in all call rotation as directed.

•Repair LAN infrastructure including cable

•Coordinate remote Hands and Feet for investigation or installation

•Configure and install LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure technology for switching or routing

•Configure and install infrastructure support Load balancing and WAN acceleration

•Support DNS/DHCP and IP Services

•Perform hardware fault isolation and repair

•Repair switching and VLANs problems

•Support remote WAN infrastructure

•Coordinate vendor support

•Analyze and resolve routing issues

•Conduct performance monitoring

•Reinforce systems security in accordance with industry best practices and enterprise policy

•Participates in all call rotation as directed.

•Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

•Associate Degree, or technical school diploma or direct business or area of functional responsibility preferred, or 2 -4 year equivalent industry work experience

•B.S. Degree preferred

•2 years of industry experience in a LAN/WAN network design or support, Required

•Experience in supporting a multi-technology network (LAN/WAN routers, switches, servers, PC’s)

•Experience with CISCO related hardware and IOS

•Basic understanding of LAN/WAN troubleshooting related to routing protocols, switch configurations, wireless technology, DNS, DHCP

•Understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI model

•Ability to generate and maintain network related documentation

•Ability to work in a highly matrix and geographically diverse business model

•Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast paced changing environment

•Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

•Multiple language skills desired, English is mandatory

•CISCO CCNA, Preferred

•Knowledge and experience with zScaler is a plus

•Experience with government regulated environment is strongly preferred
