Under direction of the Strategy Manager, provide workforce data analysis and reporting to support leadership strategic planning and execution. Sr Analyst will support team members in the analysis of HR data, including constructing data sets, running a relevant statistical analysis, and visualizing the results. Sr Analyst will work on interpreting data, identifying key trends, and publishing reports across all Abbott lines of business and functional areas to support fact-based decision making.
Responsible for consolidating data from multiple sources and systems to create and deliver reports, metrics, dashboards, and analytics using the available reporting technical platforms and applications.
Integrate data from various HR functional areas and Finance to enhance the team’s ability to provide leadership with strategic and targeted insights to drive interventions to improve overall business performance.
Interpret data, detect trends, draw conclusions, and formulate recommendations.
Ensure accuracy and quality of information/analytics produced.
Create data visualizations as needed.
Provide project management, technical, customer relations, and data support for major initiatives and projects.
Support the implementation of the ongoing strategic direction in the areas of reporting, metrics, and decision-supporting analytics.
Adhere to established policies and procedures governing data privacy and security access to data.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Be adaptable and flexible with strategic realignment initiatives.
Work with minimal management direction. Exercise latitude in the approach to problem solving.
Able to multitask while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences, Human Resources, Statistics, or other business related field.
Minimum Experience/Training Required:
2-3 years of experience in workforce analytics / HR Reporting
Working knowledge of Workday reporting
Advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience writing macros or other automation tools a plus
Experience with analytical and visualization tool (Tableau, SPSS)
Predictive analytics experience a plus
