This position provides financial planning and analysis support for Abbott’s Corporate FP&A group. It includes consolidation and analysis of Actuals, Plan and Latest Best Estimates as well as other ad-hoc analyses. This role owns the preparation of several ongoing key deliverables, such as the monthly Executive Staff package, Board of Directors financial materials and Affiliate Profitability. The position will also own development of the Corporate Topside Allocation model.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Reporting and Analysis
Provide and lead FP&A initiatives in a project manager role as determined by corporate wide initiatives (e.g. Goal Grading, Affiliate Profitability Analysis, Corporate Costs Topside Allocation process).
Provide meaningful financial analysis (P&L, profitability, Sales Growth, etc.) on a Division and Country level basis to multiple end-users.
Serve as liaison to the Division FP&A teams and provide guidance on Corporate requests.
Continue CFP&A’s communication and collaborative efforts with the Medical Devices FP&A team. CFP&A relies on Business Unit data submissions not captured in HFM or Essbase.
Position includes the supervision of 1 Sr. Financial Analyst.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. CPA, CMA or MBA preferred, but not required.
Experience in financial systems including Hyperion Essbase and HFM.
Proven ability to implement a business process change using strong project management techniques, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
