Main Purpose:

Provide direct support to internal and external customers for the business's portfolio of products; act as liaison to management, associated functional groups and business partners; act as subject matter expert subject matter expert (SME) on the business's products and troubleshooting; has expertise in a specialized area and serves as a leader / SME in a specialized area (e.g. cell marker technology, hematology, product development, etc.).

Main Responsibility:

Independently respond to simple, intermediate, complex and specialized customer inquiries via multimedia channels. analyze complaints, diagnose probable causes. systematically eliminate alternatives. Provide troubleshooting solutions. educate as appropriate. follow-up as necessary.

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System. document complaints in accordance with Quality standards. recognize and communicate trends in product issues and their impact on customers.

  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) on the business's product. may train and / or mentor junior department members.

  • Provide training to internal and external customers as needed.

  • Lead and/ or participate on cross-functional groups to support organizational goals.

  • Participate in on-call activities as scheduled. support 24/7/365 contact center where off-hour, weekend and holiday coverage is required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Follow all EHS rules and procedures applicable for your department.

  • Report any EHS incidents, unsafe acts and conditions promptly to supervision.

This position is accountable for the following:

  • Support of the department through administrative, tactical and strategic execution of

specific tasks as communicated by the department manager

  • Contribute to short-term, mid-range and long-term organizational goals

  • Facilitation / resolution of internal and external customer technical concerns.

Errors or failures to achieve results may add cost and may impact the goals of the organization.

Works under general direction; independently determines and develops approach to solutions; work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives; identifies and quantifies technical risks and their consequences relative to the success of part of a project; recommends appropriate action; decisions or recommendations would typically achieve departmental / project objectives; may provide guidance and / or recommendation cross-functionally at all levels of the organization; drives functional performance that ensure cross-functional standards and expectations are met.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with demonstrated competence Typically requires 5+ years of experience to develop the competence to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.
