The primary role of the Business Insights Manager is to support the business questions of senior leadership, Finance and the forecasting process. The BI Manager will take a leadership role in the development, integration and execution of analytical planning for these three key stakeholders. He/she will work cross-functionally with commercial leadership, finance, marketing and forecasting. He/she will present analyses and recommendations concerning business strategy to C-level executives as well as track the performance of the business.
Internal and Field Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholders to gain agreement on business objectives and the action plan to achieve them
Problem Solving: Demonstrate a strategic approach to achieve business objectives by asking strategic questions, aligning resources, developing an action plan, and evaluating action plan results
Analytics: Maintain subject matter expertise with sales data sources and tools, and applies this expertise to deliver high quality data and actionable insights to achieve business objectives. Experience with strategic decision support, market forecasting, performance tracking and promotion analytics are desired.
Process: Consistently implements all SCR protocols, procedures, and standards in a timely manner
Teamwork and Collaboration: Contribute to the team’s performance, actively collaborate within and beyond the team to design and ensure buy-in around solutions
Leadership: Support an environment of candor; takes accountability
BA or BS degree required, MBA, Masters is preferred
5+ years analytical experience desired, preferably in the healthcare industry in a market science or business analytics role.
Experience using big data is required preferably with prescription, medical claims and/or longitudinal patient-level data
Understanding of advance analytic techniques used in marking mix modeling, segmentation analysis, physician/patient targeting and predictive
