Lead organization responsible for providing daily review, analysis, and reconciliation of inventory reports for the division. Personally accountable for both the accuracy and availability of related data. Manage the continuous monitoring of multiple internal and global vendor owned systems. Inventory values throughout the network equate to over $50 million. Discrepancies must be investigated and resolved for adjustments to take place. Multiple internal and external organizations involvement must be managed so the appropriate decision makers are engaged in resolution and financial reports are updated based on findings. Inventories must be completed in a timely manner with results reported through financial operations. Responsible for the relationship between ADC and 3PL providers including a leadership role in initiatives being implemented to service the business. Has weekly calls/updates and directs their daily activities based on customer needs. Responsible for design and implementation of divisional and corporate-wide initiatives relating to distribution, inventory, and financial manuals.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for worldwide product inventory reconciliation for all areas of ADC.

  2. Responsible for investigating discrepancies, reconciliations, adjustments, and improving existing practices to eliminate future issues.

  3. Responsible for insuring quarterly audits take place at all sites having significant inventory.

  4. Responsible for reporting month-end inventory numbers utilized in ADC's financial statements.

  5. Work with IT to make systems enhancements concerning inventory, stock transfers, returns, and reporting.

  6. Responsible for management of 3PL providers in executing inventory transactions including fulfillment of orders, processing returns, transfer of inventory, as well as guiding them in new policies.

  7. Responsible for selecting, managing and developing direct reports involved in inventory reconciliation.

  8. Monitor and train 3PL partners as needed to advance ADC requirements.

  9. Work with various departments to gain support for change/improvements.

  10. Incorporate additional projects as determined by changing business needs.

  11. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Experience:

7 years of previous experience in Logistics, Operations, 3PL or Inventory Management. Demonstrated excellent Project Management, analytical and communication skills. Proven track record of success in development and implementation of logistics, warehousing, distribution, and/or transportation processes. Previous experience in international supply chain required. Previous supervisor/management experience in a highly matrixed environment preferred.
