Position Summary

The Senior Product Manager, HCP is responsible for managing and executing the Healthcare professional peer to peer program. This position is focused on working closely with thought leaders (KOLs) in endocrinology across the U.S. In this role, you will work closely with field and home office based colleagues in Marketing, Sales, Medical & Scientific Affairs, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance. In addition, you will manage a vendor to execute for local speaking engagements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work within Abbott regulatory and legal compliance guidelines.

  • Identify profile, cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs within the endocrinology community.

  • Plan, execute local, regional and national speaking engagements.

  • Build content for speakers’ decks.

  • In partnership with Medical & Scientific Affairs, train speaker’s bureau on approved speaking decks.

  • Build advocacy with KOLs using on-label and PRC-approved materials.

  • Develop promotional materials for speaking engagements.

  • Partners with HCP Marketing Team to execute non-personnel promotion and personnel promotion (e.g. cases studies).

  • Works collaboratively with the sales organization to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and constraints

  • Assist with budget management for Healthcare professional peer to peer program, to ensure budget is maximized to have the greatest impact.

  • Attend local, regional and national meetings as directed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years’ experience in marketing ideally in a similar industry. Sales experience and prior KOL management preferred. Also, critical for success: Excellent oral and written communication skills (including presentation and listening skills). High energy level and positive attitude; confidence integrity and professionalism initiative and self-motivation; strong work ethic career ambition organizational skills and attention to detail strong problem solving skills leadership and team orientation; ability to work others; ability to work in a highly-matrixed environment.
