Abbott Client Services Technician in Alimos, Greece

We would like to inform you that we are currently searching for an individual to join our IT holding the position of Client Services Technician located in Athens, Greece .

The right incumbent will be responsible for remediating desktop issues.

Key responsibilities/ Job Description:

  • Monitor dispatch queues and resolve tickets that have known resolutions. Work is provided. Complex issues are escalated

  • Constantly monitor individual queue to resolve routine desktop issues and requests

  • Provide remote assistance to end-users when necessary

  • Escalate issues to supervisor as appropriate

  • Obtain and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Comply with the desktop group practices and procedures

  • Update remedy and other data repositories as appropriate in a timely manner.

  • Achieve target ticket volume and ticket resolution levels

  • Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate policies and procedures.

  • Maintains productive relationships with peers and management in IT and the clients whose issues are being worked on

  • Completes tasks as assigned by the dispatch/ remedy system and as directed by the manager

  • Follows the processes, practices established for the group

  • Create tickets if necessary in ticketing tools

The ideal candidate should qualify for the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree from University or Technical Institute in IT/ Exact Sciences will be highly appreciated

  • 2-5 years of experience in providing IT support in desktop and application systems

  • Industry certifications

  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and fixing computer/end-user related hardware and software problems

  • Able to communicate with all levels of employees both verbally and in writing

  • Willing to assume more responsibility as required

  • Maintain a professional attitude in all matters

  • Manage time effectively
