We are now searching for a Sr Financial Analyst to join our Neuromodulation Division in Abbott Medical responsible for ΕΜΕΑ Emerging Markets .

Scope of the Role:

The right incumbent will be responsible for the financial planning, reporting and analysis by preparing financial plans and forecasts based on performance expectations, gathering and publishing financial information related to historical, current and future performance, performing financial analysis utilizing appropriate financial concepts and techniques and recommending alternative courses of action. More specifically the ideal candidate will have to:

  • Serve as the finance partner for the GM Neuromodulation Emerging Markets

  • Help to develop business cases for market expansions and product launches in the region. Evaluate new business opportunities, potential acquisitions, new products, tax planning and spending initiatives by modeling alternative financial scenarios (revenues, profitability etc).

  • Present financial KPIs to EMEA management

  • Take active role in working on tender management

  • Develop detailed financial forecasts incorporating historic, trended and current business information

  • Monitor functional and departmental spending versus budget by highlighting material variances using system generated detail and trend reports

  • Prepare journal entries and assist in month end close as needed to ensure proper accounting at the functional and departmental level

  • Prepare and distribute financial reports and packages by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance

  • Perform financial analysis, as directed by management, and recommend alternatives courses of action by utilizing appropriate financial tools

  • Prepare sensitivity analysis impact on revenue, expenses and profitability by modeling changes in key variables (recommending appropriate course of action)

  • Develop and utilize sound financial processes

  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and proceduresThe ideal candidate should qualify for the following criteria:

  • University Degree in Finance/ Economics or related field

  • Master’s Degree in Finance/ Economics will be considered as an asset

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience

  • Industry knowledge is considered a plus

  • Fluency in English. Any of the following would be considered a plus: Russian, Turkish, Arabic

  • Good knowledge of MS Excel is a must

  • Military obligations fulfilled for male candidates
