We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Electrical Engineer I to be a member of the hardware research and development organization. You may support prototyping, electrical characterization and verification, PCB development, coding for test equipment, schematic symbol/footprint creation, and lab maintenance for our commercialized product.

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for assisting various aspects of electrical engineering which may include:

  • Designing schematics and layout for prototyping

  • Creating test plans, collecting test data, analyzing results, writing engineering reports

  • Developing test code for test fixtures

  • Supporting lab infrastructure and PCB database library

  • Creating and reviewing schematic symbols and component footprints

Qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior level student in Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with Electrical focus

  • Solid fundamental understanding of analog and digital circuits

  • Hands on experience in lab testing and debug of electrical circuits using standard bench equipment

  • Knowledge of schematic and layout PCB tools

  • Soldering and de soldering techniques and ability to assemble prototype boards

  • Strong verbal and written communication with good organizational skills and ability to multi-task

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
