Functions Reporting to this position: Production Operations and Documentation.
Followings will be the responsibilities of the position holder:
Prepare short term plans to ensure the achievement of the budgeted volumes and timely deliverance of products with quality. Compliance to laid standard of the current Good Manufacturing Practices pertaining to Hormone facility. Co-ordination for installation and qualification of production equipment in hormone block and ensure documentation as per defined procedure for Hormones. To co-ordinate for validation activities as per Master Validation Plan & compliance to specifications and validated methods in Hormone block. Review of standard operating procedure, master documents of production and batch documents, etc. in Hormones block. Investigate and take appropriate action in case of any process deviation, non-compliance, market complaints, product failure, product recall in Hormones block. Ensure effective implementation of quality management system as per cGMP and international regulatory requirement at all levels of Manufacturing and packing in hormones block. Ensure effective control over the environmental conditions in manufacturing and other related activities which may adversely affect the product quality in Hormones block. Prepare plans for man/equipment management in hormones block and co-ordination with engineering for effective implementation of Engineering systems. Focus on product yields, productivity and financial budget monitoring and control for Production Consumables, manpower headcount cost and yield in hormones block. Collaborate with Opex Team and build the culture of Operational Excellence at site. Review the progress of KRAs & OE progress with Steering Committee Lead & guide the Technical Operations Team responsible for internalization/ externalization of products. Lead the Project Management function ensuring deliverables are met as per the timelines People management (responsibility for leading, motivating, training and developing the subordinates).
Set annual goals for the team, monitor performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improved performance.
To ensure training of department personnel is carried out and adapted according to the need.
To ensure that products are produced and stored according to the appropriate documentation in order to obtain the required Quality. To approve the instructions relating to production operations and to ensure their strict implementation; - (either by production head or designee only). To ensure that the production records are evaluated and signed by an authorized person. To ensure the qualification and maintenance of his department, premises and equipment. To ensure that the required initial and continuing training of his department personnel is carried out and adapted according to need.
