An exciting opportunity has arisen within Abbott's Cardiac rhythm Management division as a Territory Manager covering North London, East Anglia (Cambridge) & Essex.
As a member of the team you will be responsible for sales revenue and growth, attend clinical situations, offering informed advice on the use, settings and application of implantable devices.
You will handle customer relationships effectively and provide phenomenal service to optimise sales revenues. You will maintain existing accounts whilst also developing market penetration strategies to establish new accounts.
We provide first class training within the division which you will take part in. In order to continue our success we're looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual with a desire to support across territory boundaries to ensure that our customers receive the best service.
To prioritise and plan sales presentations and prospecting activities in an organised and efficient manner.
To achieve preset revenue and product targets whilst controlling expenditure.
You may also be asked to be involved in stand duty at exhibitions when requested and responding to technical questions that might be raised by internal or external customers.
To present meaningful products, advising clinicians on the appropriate features and benefits of each.
To educate clinicians to a ‘stand alone’ level of competence and confidence.
To understand the dynamics of the local healthcare market and competitors’ strategies impacting the accounts within the assigned sales territory.
To maintain up to date technical knowledge of relevant therapies, relevant products, clinical practice, local disease management strategies, regulatory requirements, quality standards and business policies.
To provide prompt and accurate verbal and written feedback to management on specific issues as they arise, including the current position of sales, sales opportunities, quotations outstanding and other business pending together with a review of opportunities for future sales.
What you'll need:
Appropriate tertiary qualification or Medical/Paramedical certification eg. nursing or Meaningful industry experience or relevant sport / science degree.
A hardworking individual who is keen to succeed whilst ensuring to always keep patient outcomes optimised.
Previous experience of within a similar therapy area or within medical devices within the ability to communicate clinical and technical data effectively.
Preferably prior learning of professional selling skills, especially within the medical devices or pharmaceutical arena.
You will have experience within hospital clinical sales and support experience
Willing to travel throughout the territory / region with overnight stay as required.
Comfortable travelling within Europe to other territories to support cases or follow-ups if the need arises and attend conferences and events.
