Abbott Established Pharma Division (EPD) is looking for a
Digital Healthcare - Program Manager
(to start with a fixed term contract for 1 year)
for our global EPD Headquarter based in Allschwil/Basel, Switzerland
This role will be based within Commercial and drive the planning and monitor execution of strategic global digital programs for EPD working closely with cross functional teams across functions (Marketing, IT, Medical, RA etc.) and regions, driving the program and related projects planning, goal setting, prioritization, ongoing execution, communication, governance, prioritization, documentation and continuous improvement of the program/project management practices.
For this role you have to have or be able to develop deep understanding of the global digital marketing landscape and also the local market reality/needs, challenge and support priority affiliates on their local strategy, tactics and implementation plans by spending at least 10% of the time in the markets
Core Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Goal Setting : create structured schedules and project plans based on the project goals, resources needed, potential risks, time to market and budget constraints across functional teams, assessing workloads, impacts and change management actions required. Coordinate the planning and communication of clear and actionable deliverables, activities with clear identified owner, timeline and success criteria.
Prioritization and Portfolio Alignment: Simultaneously manage multiple projects and programs, each with varying priority, timelines and resource requirements. Responsible for balancing projects and communicating priorities internally, providing and communicating pro-actively through the organization the program/project dashboard, which outlines both the projects currently underway and those on the backlog, with their priority according to the overall business objectives.
Execution, Communication and Governance: Tracking of deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the program. Hold the owners accountable for their commitments and will conduct project team meetings to provide status updates and identify and resolve issues. Manage the overall process and work pro-actively on adapting plans, looking for alternatives and propose recommendations for the activity owners based on evolving needs, conditions or issues that may arise and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery in accordance with the stated project goals.
Documentation and Archives: Work with project teams to ensure documentation, supporting materials, and project plans are updated and readily available for internal teams and senior leaders. Upon completion of a project, compile and document the program information.
Process Improvement and Standards Development: Identify, communicate and implement new processes and activities to continuously improve on the program and project management practices.
University degree with a preference for it to be complemented by an MBA or post graduate marketing / innovation qualification
PMI/PMP Project management practices certification
Minimum Experience/Training Required:
Min. 5 years of PMO and Project Management with global digital programs
Proven track record of driving digital within a business.
Working experience in or with international / Head Quarter positions
Significant experience within the Pharmaceutical industry as a plus but not a must have at all
Willing to Travel up to 10% in to the key markets
Language requirement: Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
