Abbott Sales Supervisor Cairo-Abbott Nutrition Division in Cairo, Egypt
Primary Job Function:
- The Sales Supervisor will report directly to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals delivered by senior management that will require enrolling the commitment and buy-in from their staff. The focus of this job will be to make connections with people, motivating and inspiring them to achieve results. This is a fast paced and results oriented position. The ideal candidate would thrive in a high performance sales culture.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
Display business acumen by explaining KPIs to team, helping them contribute to sales goals
Display problem solving abilities, taking action when necessary
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements, policies and procedures and serve as a role model to all employees by demonstrating full support of Abbott Nutrition occupational health, safety and environmental programs
Display a customer focus by being an effective sales leader
Focus on the customer experience and develop customer loyalty
Skillfully set the day's priorities, manage time and measure work
Lead by example by helping the team members to improve their product knowledge and selling skills
Drive results by prioritizing selling while keeping support and sales force focused
Interact and work with management/employees to promote teamwork
Delegate effectively, clearly explaining assignments, deadlines and context
Approachable and effective listener; motivate and develop others
Control and monitor implementation of sales strategies and tactics and provide feedback and market intelligence to the Marketing Department
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understand their needs
Maintain contact with key accounts; identify opportunities for corporate marketing and cultivate as appropriate
Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Provide direction to facilitate goal setting process in line with Corporate and Marketing Department goals; monitor progress; measure results; reward incentive payments; based on performance assessments.
Select, interview, lure new recruits to the sales team
Provide in-field coaching, follow-up training to support skill-based training and develop subordinates to facilitate succession planning
Conduct sales and cycle meetings to monitor progress; facilitate communication; provide representatives with forum to network; provide training
Effectively communicate with all levels of staff via staff meetings, written communications and one-on-one communication
Bachelor Degree in Pharmaceutical Science/Human or Vet
Minimum three years relevant experience in a multinational nutritional company is a must with at least two years as Sales Supervisor.
Strong sales record
Relevant industry products experience is an asset
Problem solving skills
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation and selling skills
Computer skills in power point and Excel is a must
