The Abbott Ambassador is responsible for managing , protecting and expanding existing corelab/serology/hematology accounts, managing and improving customer relationships, and improving profitability of accounts.


  • Full revenue responsibility including forecasting and target performance achievement

  • Act as a trusted partner and advisor as Abbott's main contact to customers

  • Manage and drive the development of their accounts, including key activities such as: strategic account management and post-sales implementation process

  • New product and menu expansion targeting

  • Prepare and execute regular customer business reviews

  • Manage routine renewals of base business accounts and negotiate long-term contracts

  • Implement new assays

  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to customers

  • Oversee progress of cross-functional implementation team (post-sale) with project manager


Bachelor's degree as Biomedical Laboratory Scientist or similar Bachelor/Master degree.


  • Track record in the diagnostic industry in a similar position with an emphasis on managing andexpanding existing accounts, managing and improving customer relationships, improving profitability of accounts.

  • Successful engagement with customers, specifically Business Management and key stakeholders.

  • Excellent product andindustry knowledge

  • Strongunderstandingof key stakeholders and customerdynamics

  • Strongsolutionselling andrelationship buildingskills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability toidentify and drive resolution ofissues

  • Long-term, strategicfocus on account

  • Candidates must be fluentin locallanguage and English.

  • Theposition requiresthe willingness to travel on a frequentbasis,i.e. on average three days per week.
