Abbott Marketing System & Communications Specialist in Diegem, Belgium
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing System and Communication Specialist for our Vascular division.
The Marketing System & Communication Specialist will support the Marketing Departments in developing and executing communication tools, materials and campaigns to drive business results
The Core Job Responsibilities are:
Development and execution of communication tools within pre-defined budget and in line with product branding and the overall Abbott Vascular brand identity guidelines.
Communicate/train branding guidelines to all stakeholders in EMEA affiliates and provide support to affiliates to produce brand-consistent materials.
Manage marketing material review, approval and tracking system according to DOP and work closely together with the quality and regulatory teams.
Manage internal and external Advertisement and Promotion audits.
Update iPad content centrally and further develop the Abbott iPad sales tool.
Support co-ordination of internal e-mail campaigns and newsletters.
Follow-up on Marcom budget, purchase orders and invoices.
Develop a strong insight and understanding in communication channels, formats (tools & tactics) in terms of impact, target audience, pro’s and con’s, limitations and whether they fit within the strategy.
Track and analyze what the competition is doing in terms of product communication and corporate communication.
Coordinate the process flow between external parties and multiple departments in order to execute in the most efficient way (developing briefings, timelines, development and execution of communication tools & tactics, follow-up of production).
The required competencies/experiences:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Communications, Law, Marketing, Administration, Information Technology or equivalent.
Experience in marketing communication, quality or a proven track record in building brands in a B-to-B environment
Experience in the healthcare/medical device industry is an asset, willingness to learn about the medical industry is required
In-depth understanding of online & offline channels
Expertise in new technologies and digital marketing
Experience in managing agencies and external vendors
Demonstrated excellence in project management, cross-functional teamwork and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Strong process-minded thinking and acting
Customer-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
Proactive attitude and hands-on mentality – result driven
Flexible and eager to stay on top of the new developments in communication and branding
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and respect deadlines
Fluency in English, any other language is a plus.
