Abbott Product Manager Coronary EMEA in Diegem, Belgium

Abbott Vascular is looking for an experienced Product Manager EMEA to join our EMEA Headquarter in Diegem.

As a Product Manager you define, create and implement marketing strategies, objectives and actions for a specific product, product group or therapy, for the EMEA (Europe, Middle-East, Africa) sales force, sales management and local marketing teams.

You are responsible for defining and executing on the Capital Equipment business model, providing recommendation on educated and measurable steps to achieve the overall business growth of both Imaging and Physiology:

  • Understand cost of capital lifecycle management. Define main revenue streams.

  • Grow the service side of the business by understanding the value of service to obtain a high performing asset

  • Drive disposable growth with actionable plans to achieve objectives

Your role and responsibilities also include the following:

  • Effective product launches, including positioning, implementation, and tracking

  • Operational plan achievement (revenue, market share, milestones)

  • Differentiation and Value Creation toward Competition

  • Support to affiliates' organization

  • Developing marketing activities at EMEA level.

  • Working in close cooperation with Countries/Regions to ensure optimal training, implementation and alignment to achieve business objectives.

  • Creating meaningful selling tools with clear objectives for targeting, implementation, and tracking.

  • Identifying competitive advantages on specific products and create sales and marketing materials that contribute towards more effective sales calls and increased differentiation from competition.

  • Working with marketing communication to implement effective branding on all materials.

  • Following-up on European Performance versus objectives with monthly reports and comments (in collaboration with market intelligence team).

  • Providing guidelines for financial planning and forecasting as well as strategic planning exercises.

  • Ensuring compliance in performing the training as required by the training procedure

  • Ensuring compliance in reporting product experiences according to Abbott Vascular requirement

Your Profile:

  • University degree (ideally in business, marketing or MBA)

  • Multinational companies experience

  • Sales and marketing experience (2+ years in local or European)

  • Medical devices or pharmaceuticals

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • Project planning and project management skills

  • Quick decision-making

  • Creative and operational marketing skills

  • Ability to perform data analysis and tracking in Excel to show data trends and propose solutions

  • Ability to interface with customers and key opinion leaders

  • Strong strategic, analytical and conceptual capabilities

  • Results and performance driven

  • Knowledge of financial structures

  • Fluency in English (additional language is an asset)
