The role of the Controls engineer will be to support the Libre Expansion project. This will involve participating in the design, build and installation of new equipment and technologies to the manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will have experience in technical design, validation and manufacturing control systems (ideally experience & understanding of Siemens, Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley PLCs). Knowledge of vision systems including Cognex vision systems with experience in the use of Cognex Insight Explorer and Cognex Dataman software will also be critical to the role.

Job Specification:

  • Provide design support and programming for PLC’s, motion control and, vision applications.

  • Participate in the design, build and, installation of new equipment and technologies to the manufacturing operation.

  • Coordinate and contribute to the design of SOPs and technical design specifications.

  • Support the qualification of equipment and generation of IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.

  • Managing the cost and time constraints of projects.

  • Experience in the qualification of manufacturing equipment to meet regulatory requirements.
