An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dedicated, clinically, technically and commercially-minded Territory Manager to support our expanding Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) business within our Cardiac Arrhythmias & Heart Failure business unit.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position is responsible for maximising the sales volume and market share of designated products within the metro Adelaide territory.

The main aspects of this role include:

  • To achieve EP certification by undertaking and completing a thorough in-house training program to allow you to attend and support EP sessions independently

  • To achieve 3D mapping certification by undertaking and completing a thorough in-house training program to allow you to support 3D mapping cases independently

  • Achieve sales targets and increase market share for your assigned territory through building strong relationships and providing high quality clinical service and support

  • Develops strong relationships with key customers that will assist in growing your business and market share to achieve sales targets

  • Develop relationships with and service key customer groups, identify and utilise key customer networks

  • Actively implements and executes on sales force effectiveness initiatives to help drive business growth and sales skills development including strategic territory and account planning, customer profiles and sales training

  • Utilise available sales analysis tools to assist in territory planning

  • Utilise internal resources to assist servicing customers within your territory

  • Manage your consignment stock

  • Maintain accurate customer profiles

  • Maintain up to date product knowledge and actively participate in education programs.

  • Assist with product marketing and launches

  • Provide market feedback on product and competitor activity

  • Attend to/comply with customer service and other administrative requirements within the required timeframe.

  • Conduct education/training to hospital staff on products and technology

  • Provide training, support and mentorship to internal staff and colleagues

  • This role may require out of hours or weekend work from time to time

  • Attend company sales meetings and customer events as required

  • Up to 20% of your time may involve rural, interstate and possibly international travel to fulfil your duties

In addition to the above, the relevant experience is required:

  • Good understanding of the industry process and function; able to convincingly discuss the industry process and function with customers, as well as internal and external experts.

  • Tertiary qualifications in business / biomedical / engineering / medical science / human movement or related field (Cardiac Technician)

  • Proven technical and clinical skills

  • Proven experience in meeting sales targets

  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mind
