Define and discuss the user requirements with key representatives from quality, manufacturing, engineering and supply chain.
Execute small to medium capital projects independently
Manage system integrator in term of scope, cost, quality and timing
Review progress reports
Review detailed code development for proper software development & documentation. Also ensure that the software is written and documented in a straightforward way that is supportable by factory staff
Become liaison between factory floor Technicians and Engineering
Monitor & review the interface implementation progress of each automation supplier
Organize the training of the factory Engineering technicians and operations operators
Prepare training materials
Troubleshooting on day to day basis and support after hours if needed
Preferred: 5+ years automation experience in manufacturing plant environment preferably Food and Dairy industry. Experience in calibration, PLC hardware, and ladder logic programming. Also have experience with aspects of electronics/electricity, including control voltages, instruments, AC/DC, VFD and three-phase AC voltages.
Ability to work flexible hours
Good knowledge of Electrical & Automation in Manufacturing industry
Ability to prioritize tasks and sense of urgency
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP
Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation Software Platforms like
PanelView FT suite
RSLogix 500 & 5000
Microsoft SQLServer and Terminal Services
Industrial Application Server 2012
Understanding of Client Server Architecture
Ability to troubleshoot PLC programs using deductive reasoning (Control Logix and Modicon)
Ability to accurately record and document information, to include wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and process narrative
Working knowledge of industrial electricity
