•To provide efficient and timely administrative support to the senior management team as required.•Perform administrative duties and provide full secretarial, personal assistance.•Coordinate diary management, and composition of communications, letters, memos, emails etc, on a need basis. Monitor and redirect, where appropriate.•Providing administration assistance to area management team•l in the execution of day-to-day communications, consolidation of information for the region on financial reporting and presentation materials, etc. •Maintain effectiveness and efficiency of the office independently in the absence of the manager.•Schedule, co-coordinate and organize conferences/meetings as required, both internal and external customers.•Book business travel and accommodation.•Operate and maintain files, ensuring security/confidentiality at all times.•Close liaison with both Abbott internal personnel, in-country and worldwide, and external customers.•Multi-task in different work situations, varying environments and people.•Adapt and take initiative in varying work tasks-responsibilities and situations.•Prioritize and effectively manage time (time management) to ensure that a given task is completed efficiently.•Maintain a level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas and keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise.•Work effectively with team or work group and those outside direct line of authority to accomplish organizational goals.•Keep abreast of knowledge and/or skills to perform effectively on the job.•Any other added secretarial and administrative duties that may arise.•General office management duties
