Job Summary:

Responsible for implementing contract paperwork, analyzing and resolving pricing discrepancies and other tactical objectives in support of divisional strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.

  • Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Analyze contract and pricing discrepancies, work cross-functionally as appropriate to resolve, correct and document findings.

  • Process assigned paperwork across instrument, reagent, or service agreements.

  • Ensure compliance relative to contract and pricing implementation against departmental SOP and OEC procedures; promptly report any non-compliance issues to management.

  • Other duties as assigned by the department manager.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associates Degree, working towards completion thereof, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Candidate / incumbent should possess the following:

  • Ability or aptitude to work on problems that are semi-complex in scope and where analysis of situations or data involves many factors across many data sources.

  • Ability to determine methods and procedures to complete assignments.

  • Ability to work independently and in groups; works cross-functionally to accomplish goals.

  • Ability to prioritize, think analytically, critically and problem-solve.

  • Experience with or exposure to various software applications such as SAP, Model N and Salesforce applications.

  • Ability to interact professionally across multiple levels, departments, businesses and divisions.

  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present material to management.

The position is accountable for the following:

  • Support of the department and the larger business through administrative and tactical contract-related tasks.

  • Contribute to short-term, mid-range and long-term organizational goals; facilitation / resolution of contract-related concerns.

  • Works under general supervision; work is typically reviewed for overall accuracy, completeness and sound judgment.

  • Identifies and quantifies risks and their consequences relative to the scope of their work.

  • Understands critical success factors relative to scope of work and makes recommendations and decisions impacting applicable factors.

  • Recommends appropriate actions and options for resolution to management.

  • Drives functional performance to ensure that cross-functional standards and expectations are met; trains and/or mentor’s other personnel.

  • Errors or failures to achieve results may add cost and may impact the financial goals of the organization.
