Responsible for the development of upstream marketing strategic plans and support for specific marketing plans and the tactical execution of activities for specific market segments or products to establish, enhance or distinguish placement within the competitive arena.

Main Responsibility:

  • Primary responsibility is to be the marketing representative and voice of the customer with early product development with core R&D; and to understand relative priorities for the development of new products and product enhancements by defining customer needs and working with internal customers.

  • Assist in developing, recommending and implementing sales and marketing programs and materials.

  • Understand strategic and financial implications of project(s) / product(s) on the overall budget.

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of customer needs and industry dynamics to assigned product(s) / project(s).

  • Participate on cross-functional teams in support of organizational goals.

  • Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.

  • Accountability: Position is responsible to manage single project or participates on portions of multiple projects; understands concepts and applies these concepts practically with reasonable effectiveness; may function independently according to the task but is still given significant direction.

Qualifications:

Education: MedTech or Life Sciences undergrad preferred. MBA or relevant Masters required.

Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience with 2+ years of marketing is mandatory. A combination of some sales and/or laboratory experience preferred.

Marketing experience should include one or more of the following:

Healthcare product launch, new product development, market assessment, voice of customer research, sales tools/messaging and/or future trend analysis (payer, gov’t policy, clinical practice, etc).

Desired Industries: Diagnostics, Hospital Laboratories, MNC Healthcare company (eg pharma, med device), Major Hospital or Payor Network.

Additional Qualifications:

Candidate must have demonstrated career trajectory, industry agility, global aptitude and have examples of project management ownership & discipline. Has demonstrated leadership ability to influence without authority & collaborate with other functions, such as R&D and Sales.
