Main Responsibilities:

  • Innovation & Franchise Expansion

  • Proactively manages all aspects of the franchises in the US, evolving to stay ahead of the market and keep relevant to all target audiences

  • Has deep knowledge of the products / solutions in the portfolio and acts as a subject matter expert, identifying and resolving potential issues across the US market

  • Is highly knowledgeable about the US blood and plasma industry landscape, including competitive offerings and strategy

  • Rigorously hunts for and finds new ideas to expand the franchise and create differentiation

  • Collaborates with countries and global to develops accurate forecasts and targets in the US market

  • Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Drives the overall development and execution of the US marketing plan for the franchises, ensuring the right people across global and US teams are engaged, and it reflects global choices and local insights and requirements

  • Anticipates challenges and risks, using proactive contingency and scenario planning

  • Influences and trains sales and US market leaders to ensure strategy and plan are understood / actioned.

  • Launch Excellence

  • Has strong experience launching new solutions in an agile, efficient way

  • Engages and influences Global, R&D, Regulatory etc. to set and meet launch timings, budgets and approaches in the US market

  • Effectively forecasts impact of launches for the US market, and gains alignment on targets

  • Drives the development of US launch plans, ensuring they are relevant, realistic and robust – and reflect US customer / market insights and global priorities

  • Proactively engages sales teams to identify requirements for a successful launch – then partners to make it happen

  • Effectively tracks and takes responsibility for the impact of launches and adapts where required.

  • Measurement & Financial Acumen

  • Effectively manages the budget for the franchises in the US market

  • Analyzes multiple external data points to identify risks, and put in place contingency plans

  • Analyzes historical trends and models future growth to develop long-term forecasts

  • Accurately predicts the financial impact of competitor actions and our programs across the US market

  • Takes responsibility for achieving targets / growing the business in the US market

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in business, life sciences, engineering or related technical discipline

  • MBA or Masters in applicable technical discipline is desired

  • Diagnostics or Healthcare Experience - 6 years,

  • Marketing Experience - 4 years

  • Plasma industry experience highly preferred.

  • The position needs to be based in Lake Forest, IL. Relocation support available.
