Abbott Field Clinical specialist - Atrial Fibrillation (SW London / South Coast) in London, United Kingdom

As the Field Clinical specialist covering South West London & the South Coast you will be responsible for supporting emerging technology lines by providing expert clinical consultation, teaching and support on the use of all Atrial Fibrillation products within the Cardiac Arrhythmia & Heart Failure division and their appropriate application in the clinical setting.

What will my responsibilities be?

  • You will provide guidance for Physicians and clinical staff during clinical procedures. Giving primary technical support where appropriate and ensuring the highest possible patient outcomes are achieved.

  • You will be maintain a high level of professionalism at all times, ensuring that your knowledge is up to date and accurate, working alongside your fellow employees to ensure your continuous development both clinically and commercially.

  • You will help the team to deliver the divisional strategy via supporting product implementation plans and customer education and in return we will ensure you receive first class training.

  • Supporting & driving employee and customer clinical training & sign-off and participate in building bespoke training programs based on customer needs and requirements.

  • To be successful you will take responsibility, understand and align with all clinical practices and standing orders required by the individual healthcare establishments.

What do i need?

  • You will have a B.S degree preferably in Sciences

  • We would expect you to have experience in a Cath lab clinical role or held healthcare clinical specialist role previously.

  • Knowledge of the UK healthcare market would be beneficial.

  • You will be someone with strong Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time

  • Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol

  • Strong Vascular Anatomy & Physiology knowledge

  • Good PC utilization and presentation skills to include: MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Email
