This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales and Clinical Specialist to join Abbott Vascular based in VIC and working part time in this exciting role. In addition to sales excellence, you will provide education and training relating to the Abbott Coronary Portfolio to Medical and Nursing staff within the assigned territory.
The role would suit an experienced medical hospital sales professional, from pharma or devices, looking to work 3 days/week (you get to decide what days you want to work!).
Right winning attitude, a drive for success and dedication to our customers and patients would be the key to success for the successful candidate. Depending on the business requirement travel to Hobart might be required.
In your new role you shall be responsible to:
Meet customer education and in-service requirements as agreed with Abbott Sales Representative or Manager and be available to respond to customers during business hours. Attendance at Abbott Sales Conferences may be required from time to time.
Act as a resource and assist with training of the Abbott sales team as requested by Sales and Marketing management.
Conduct education on behalf of Abbott within Cardiac, Vascular & Radiology Catheterisation Labs & associated wards and personnel.
Maintain level of professional interest and knowledge in field of expertise thereby acting a resource for Sales and Marketing e.g. monitor market trends and competitor activity within.
Complete and submit timely administration tasks such as customer record keeping (CM), monthly highlights, expenses etc in line with divisional standards. Manage samples, demo devices, promotional & phone budgets as per your plan spreadsheet to ensure expenses budget in contained.
Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
Manage consignment stock
To succeed in your new position ideally you will possess:
Appropriate tertiary qualification or Medical/Paramedical certification e.g. nursing, Cardiac tech OR radiography
Sales experience in the medical industry (preferred)
Clinical qualifications/experience of 3 years or more preferred in the Health Care Industry
Experience in providing Clinical Training (Preferred)
Experience working in a Cath/Endovascular Lab, Theatre or Radiology (Preferred)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to teach in a clinical setting
