An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled, enthusiastic Sales Representative within the Haematology/Automatic Solutions space to support our expanding business within Abbott Diagnostics.
This position will report to the Technical Solutions Design Manager. In alignment with network strategy, this position will develop account level opportunity strategy, execute technical sales activities displaying a high level of knowledge of our IACC and sound working knowledge of Assays, Haematology, Informatics and Automation solutions.
The main aspects of this role include:
Participate in the development of overall network strategy
Uncovering needs and opportunities through a sound working knowledge of Abbott solutions
Utilise resources such as Haematology, Informatics, Automation/Workflow Specialists, Enterprise Account Managers (EAM), and Sales management to effectively execute account level strategy
Participate in solution pricing activities and provide platform specific contributions to tenders working in partnership with EAM, Marketing, Finance and Management
Execute Marketing initiatives with assistance of Product Managers, utilizing playbook guide for platform and assay focus and relevant programs
Maintain AFORCE minimum utilisation commitments including call rates with appropriate pre and post call follow-up, maintaining contact information accuracy, TAM information and accurate pipeline management of opportunities.
Understand competitor environment and apply it to the sales strategy
In addition to the above, the relevant experience is required:
Relevant tertiary education
ADD assay technical knowledge
High level of knowledge of our IACC and sound working knowledge of Assays, Haematology, Informatics and Automation solutions.
Excellent product and industry knowledge
Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics
Experience managing key accounts and working with senior level stakeholders
Proven success at winning contracts at large, complex accounts
