An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Sales Representative to join our Aged Care and Community unit within Abbott Nutrition.
This position is responsible for managing the Central Coast, Newcastle-Hunter, New England and mid North Coast NSW Territory for Nutrition products to ensure sales targets are met through development of key relationships with Aged Care sites, Specialists and our Community customers in order to grow, maintain and protect the Nutrition business.
Core Job Responsibilities
Plan territory call to achieve targets while targeting high sales areas for maximum growth.
Achieve agreed daily territory coverage fundamentals including: Customer call reach (Aged Care facilities, Dietitians, Distributors, Community customers, State Tender Boards & other institution admin staff).
Provide territory coverage plans and sales reports as required, including maintaining call reports on SalesForce.com.
Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
Produce a monthly territory Forecast for new business opportunities with existing and potential clients, including competitive threats to existing business.
Maintain close relationships with key accounts throughout their organisation from Specialists/Aged Care/Dietitians. Ensure their requirements are being met by the company's products. Appraise current and planned customer needs and advise on the application of company products and services to customer requirements.
Implement specific marketing strategies, programs and sales presentations. Monitor tender and proposal expiry dates. Attendance and market feedback in the Monthly Sales teleconference calls.
Manage expenses within set budgets.
Coordinate with Nutrition management on product supply inventory requirements and managements.
Represent the company and introduce its products to allocated accounts within a territory to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Develop targeted strategies that will proactively address competitor activity and market trends.
In addition to the above, the relevant experience is required:
2 years' experience in a sales role and at least 1 year sales experience in the health care industry, with clear demonstration of strong sales achievement records and innovative sales strategies.
Highly driven person with a strong motivation to build a career with Abbott Nutrition within and outside of Australia.
Appropriate tertiary/business qualification, e.g. Dietitian, Nutritionist.
Science degree or equivalent
