Are you a dietitian/nutritionist looking to expand your profile in sales within the hospital space or already excelling in sales and looking to work with an organization that really cares?
We are looking for someone like you to join us as a Territory Specialist in our established Nutrition Team. Based in the picturesque South Australia, you would be responsible for managing the South Australian (Incl. NT) Territory for our Nutrition Portfolio. Your focus will be to develop key relationships with Hospitals, Specialists, Dietitians and Paediatricians in order to grow, maintain and protect the Nutrition business in your territory.
What does a day in this role looks like?
We like to keep things interesting and therefore no two days are same, but the generic responsibilities would include:
Territory planning and targeting to achieve sales goals and maximise growth
Achieving agreed daily territory coverage fundamentals including: Customer call rate (6/day) and reach (Specialists, Dietitians, Hospitals Teams, State Tender Boards & other influential customers)
Providing territory coverage plans and sales reports as required, including maintaining accurate call reports in Salesforce.
Developing new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new clients
Maintaining close relationships with key accounts through liaison with organisations and their relevant HCPs to ensure Abbott’s products met and exceed their requirements
Implementing specific marketing strategies, programs and sales presentations
Monitoring tender and proposal expiry dates and working alongside the Regional Sales Manager in tender preparation by assisting with in-field knowledge
Managing expenses within set budgets
Coordinating with Nutrition Management and Procurement on product supply and forecasting
Developing targeted strategies that will proactively address competitor activity and market trends
What makes you a successful candidate?
Qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics
2 years' experience in a sales role and at least 1 year sales experience in the health care industry, with clear demonstration of strong sales achievement records and innovative sales strategies: The experience is highly desirable, but if you have a dietetics/nutrition background and a passion to make it big in sales, we would love to hear from you even if you have just got your foot in the door
Full Australian Driver’s license and ability to travel domestically (approx. 20% time)
Highly developed presentation, communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
Resilience & commitment to take the initiative in delivering business results.
Highly driven person with a strong motivation to build a career with Abbott Nutrition within and outside of Australia.
