Abbott STP Lead in Moscow, Russia
The STP Service Lead leads the service line within the Country. She/he is ensuring accurate reporting of financial information to all users of information in accordance to statutory requirements, Abbott Standards and policies. This role is ensuring the oversight of processes and the systems; documentation, compliance and reporting are in place to deliver quality services, providing the thought leadership to drive improvements for highly effective and efficient end-to-end processes to the Abbott divisions and entities in the areas of AP and T&E.
Provides service delivery:
Leads STP team and provides hands-on support for the teams of AP and T&E Sets objectives for the Service Line, ensuring alignment with CFS strategy and communicates to all staff and key customers. Operational oversees to provide services at expected levels with a clear customer focus, including managing exceptions. Provides functional guidance for the service line teams. Interacts proactively within CFS and Divisions/Entities to ensure accurate accounting, and financial reporting. Resolves all escalated issues and disputes. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for related policies and processes, drives continuous improvement & standardization to have an efficient & effective process and realize cost reduction opportunities. Reviews all changes to current policies, processes and procedures for the functional area before final approval Ensures process and system related training is offered to CFS teams and other Abbott associates to take full advantage of implemented systems and processes. Ensures training materials and Intranet are up-to-date
Provides leadership in Compliance:
Ensures all processes, policies and procedures are clearly defined, fully documented, in line with Abbott standards and consistent with best practices as well as aligned with the Global Blueprint (when applicable) Ensures compliance with Abbott Compliance Code and regulatory requirements and implementation in internal guidelines Ensures application of agreed Abbott / Veropharm control procedures and actively supports to deliver SOX certification Promotes a strong control environment and follow up on audit issues and implement correcting measures

Degree in finance/accounting.
Professional certification in areas of accounting and finance (ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc.) completed or close to completion.
Local language plus English
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience including hands-on experience in reporting and consolidation.
Previous experience in auditing (Big4) is a plus
Track record of successfully managed projects driving performance (e.g. ERP implementation)
