AEM Developer Adobe Experience Manager

DevOps Role: AppDev/Support – Software Engineer

Education Qualification:

 Masters/Bachelor of Engineering/ Computer Science

 Preferable to have AEM Developer certification

Work Experience:

 2 to 5 years of experience on AEM and Java development

 Experience troubleshooting Java/AEM/TomCat web application and web infrastructure

 Development experience on MySQL, 3rd party REST/SOAP web services, Responsive design, Bootstrap, jQuery, AngularJS, Website optimization, Web application security, AEM components, OSGI Bundles, Maven, JSTL and Slightly

Core Job Responsibilities:

 Lead troubleshooting effort for production AEM 6.x websites and Apache Tomcat web application.

 Perform minor code revisions to existing websites and web application that are dependent on modern website frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery, and AngularJS.

 Maintain and ensure integrity of source code using Git repository.

 Create supporting change control documentation including design documents, unit test, and deployment instructions.

 Support continuous improvement of coding standards and best practices for DevOps team.

Education Qualification:

 Bachelor of Engineering/ Masters in Computer Science

 Preferable to have AWS Solution Architect - Associate

Work Experience:

 2 - 5 years of experience on AWS infrastructure and AEM application support in a DevOps model

 Experience in troubleshooting errors pertaining to workload infrastructure including network, OS, AWS and AEM

 Ability to use a wide variety technologies, tools & platforms like AWS Tools Pipeline , Puppet/Ansible/Chef/Jenkins/Git, AEM, Apache, MySQL, RHEL - Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Powershell, Bash, and Python

 Core Job Responsibilities:

Provide on-call support for Production workload, including:

 Manage automated Maven build tasks for AEM code and config packages.

 Performs code/config deployments using TeamCity continuous integration tool.

 Manage AEM user/group permissions.

 Manage EC2/RDS instances via SSH, Cloudformation, and AWS CLI.

 Monitor infrastructure health with New Relic.

 Troubleshoots errors pertaining to workload infrastructure including network, OS, AWS service, and AEM platform.

 Continuously improve operation through coding, testing, and implementation of Powershell scripts, AWS RunCommands, and TeamCity integration.

 Work with development team and architects to improve compliance and efficiency of deployment process.

 Participate in design and architecture of new system features.
