Job Title: Key Account Manager – Enterprise Account

Location/Site: Delhi

Grade: 15

Reports To Enterprise Account Manager - ATM


Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:

The KAM Enterprise Account ATM is responsible for strategizing, planning, and coordinating with overall Govt stake holders and Policy Makers within a given geographical area, while increasing sales, profits and market share on a long term basis. The KAM - EA - Govt is required to maintain an active and visible role with Government Healthcare Dept, & manage a cost effective operation.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Initiates and maintains a high profile engagement with the Government Healthcare Stake Holders and Policy makers. Initiates business Development efforts in the identification, analysis, negotiation and development of Government business opportunities in accordance with agreed strategic objectives.

  • Evaluates and implements appropriate new Strategies/techniques to increase the department's access to Government Healthcare for a long term market consolidation and business Development objective.

  • Presents consolidated solutions to Government Policymakers /Stake Holders and assists them in formulating patient friendly healthcare policies and initiatives.

  • Strategizes, Initiates and implements Pilot Projects with Government Healthcare Departments.

  • As required maintains an active role with the local Team

  • Completes all administrative duties in a timely fashion.

  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism with customers and peers.

  • Identify and analyze emerging technologies and competitive activities, which will influence the business results and strategic success of ATM.

  • Maintains a high profile with the professional organization in the assigned geographical area.

  • Maintains a high profile with Government policy and decision makers.

  • Provides verbal and written guidance or input to the sales organization and marketing staff.

  • Monitors product knowledge and selling capabilities

  • Assures adherence to Company Sales policies and procedures.


Minimum Skill, Education, Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline from reputed institute/ university (preferably B. Pharm or B.Sc)

  • 5 -8 years of sales experience, with 2 years of progressive sales management experience. Working with Government Healthcare will be preferable.




  • Excellent strategic planning and project management skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • A high degree of social confidence and presentation skills.

  • Excellent time management skills; ability to set priorities

  • Ability to determine short and long range business needs

  • Must possess strong problem solving techniques

  • A high degree of computer literacy

  • Must be willing to reside within the assigned area

  • Must be willing to travel 25% -40% during the work week.

Accountability / Scope:

Accountable for initiating, engaging and maintaining professional relations with Government Stake Holders.

Identifying and working on Government business opportunities within a designated geographic area

This position interfaces frequently with Field Sales, Marketing and the company’s customer base. Interruptions are normal, routine and frequent. Travel schedule is extensive resulting in minimal office time. Compensation and recognition are tied directly to personal performance. Involves considerable freedom to structure and manage work independently. Evaluating information critically and making decisions based on the data are important. Social confidence and the ability to speak in a clear and articulate manner are important. Ability to read behavioral cues and establish/maintain close business relations is critical. Ability to persuade and influence without direct control is also important.

Requires extensive short-term and long-term planning skills. Effective personnel management skills are critical.
