Abbott Point of Care develops, manufactures and markets critical medical diagnostic and data management products for rapid blood analysis. The i-STAT System is an advanced, portable diagnostic tool that provides real-time, lab-quality results within minutes to accelerate patient-care decision-making. The i-STAT System has the industry’s most comprehensive menu of tests in a single, with-patient platform, including tests for blood gases, electrolytes, chemistries, coagulation, hematology, glucose, and cardiac markers.

Abbott Point of Care (APOC) has a new opening for Manager International Commercial Demand Planning. This role is responsible for the following:

  • Drives monthly S&OP process for US or International organizations with following responsibilities

  • Consolidate Sales Forecast, Collate assumptions, Monitor opportunities/(risks)

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams of commercial/finance/HQ to provide sales forecast to Global S&OP stakeholders

  • Follow through S&OP action items (US or International and Global) and ensure closure in timely fashion

  • Develop Unit based demand plan at SKU level for US or International organizations and communicate to Global Supply Chain team along with Opportunities/(Risks)

  • Establish KPIs to measure and manage forecast accuracy

  • Interface between Commercial and Supply Chain team to enable proactive planning/execution to deliver on Sales commitment

  • Owns Distributor performance scorecard implementation and reporting of KPIs

  • Interpret ambiguous data. draw conclusions and provide recommendations.

  • Promote adherence to EHS policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

Minimum education and requirements:

  • Bachelors in Finance/Business

  • Advanced technical skills - Excel, statistical/demand planning modelling, financial systems (ERP, cognos)

  • Individual contributor but collaborates heavily with other functions

  • Adaptability

  • Ability to drive conversations and influence

  • Heavy interface with leadership team

  • Ability to manage, analyze and interpret data

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
