For the strengthening of our medical information and sales network, within the Nutritional Division of Abbott Italia, we are looking for a

Scientific Customer Development Representative – ANI Italia (Zona Umbria – Province Perugia and Terni)

The figure, reporting to the Customer Development Manager, will be responsible for presenting the company's products to pharmacies and general practitioners. It will collaborate in a cross-functional way with the Marketing department in order to guarantee the achievement of the set objectives. The ideal candidate has a degree in scientific disciplines (Biology or Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, CTF), a consolidated experience of at least 3 years in medical scientific information and sales in pharmacies. In addition to scientific preparation and experience, they complete the professional profile:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling products to current or potential customer pharmacies

  • Build and maintain long-term professional relationships

  • Achieve sales targets

  • Organize training aimed at the pharmacist target relative to the products of competence

  • Ensure an adequate level of information in the General Practitioner class of the provinces of Perugia and Terni, providing scientific support on the products of its competence, also through the use of digital tools

  • Prioritize opportunities and identify the right target relative to the product portfolio of its competence

  • Ensure constant presence at the competent Pharmacists and General Practitioners of the area in question, with the established frequency, according to the operational plan of the Company

  • Develop an effective pre-visit planning, scheduling visits in advance both with General Practitioners and with Pharmacists

  • In line with the indications of the Marketing and its Customer Development Manager, provide General Practitioners with all the scientific information on the nutritional products of their competence, leaving any information supports prepared by the Company

  • Execute a constant mapping of its own territory identifying opportunities and market criticalities by collecting information on the medical-scientific needs and expectations of the relevant physicians

  • Periodically analyze the results of the area of ​​competence, examining any deviations from the forecast data, identifying the related causes and formulating proposals to the Customer Development Manager for overcoming them

  • Acquire the necessary knowledge of the assigned territory, to identify pharmacists and target doctors or potential targets, in line with the segmentation and targeting indications defined by the Company

  • Produce reports and analysis of the territory relating to the products of its competence

  • Actively participate in the organization and coordination of promotional initiatives, according to the indications of the Customer Development Manager, identifying General Practitioners and Pharmacists to be involved in national congresses or in local events.

  • Good knowledge of the main IT applications

  • Residence in the territory, with a consolidated knowledge of the same

  • Good knowledge of the English language
