Abbott Corporate Accounts Country Lead in Rungis, France

Abbott Cardiac Care comprises Coronary/Endo, CRM/EP/Heart Failure, Structural Heart, and Capital Equipment.

In the development of Abbott's Cardiac Cardiac business, we are recruiting a Corporate Accounts Lead.

He/she will be responsable for:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives for assigned region or account group.

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive business plans, with regular customer and internal reviews. Build and execute against short and long term business plans uniting all BU to maximize Abbott’s ROI. Steward of all financial and non-financial resources.

  • Prepare, develop and implement Corporate Account strategies and detailed account plans for large targeted accounts, to achieve cross-BU revenue growth and increase market share growth

  • Sell the entire CV portfolio by executing business plans for targeted accounts to include fortress hospital accounts, in-country hospital groups, cross-country border hospital networks ,GPOs and private independent organizations

  • Protectively build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts. Build deep executive level relationships with customers across a range of segments, therapeutic areas and business functions, such as the C-suite, supply chain, health economics, Bio-med and quality committees. Engage and partner with a range of customer stakeholders beyond contracting, to develop solutions/services structured to accelerate target account CV business growth.

  • Partner and drive all sales teams in all BU in the development, implementation and management of strategic initiatives within targeted accounts and geography.

  • Prepare and deliver corporate proposals and presentations to key customers and decision-makers.

  • Create, drive and negotiate complex contracts in the target accounts. Drive integrated product agreements and create business solutions to drive share and deliver profitable growth. Work closely with Finance and Legal staff to ensure all contracts meet internal management and legal requirements.

  • Drive and develop customer loyalty programs to ensure high level of customer satisfaction in the target accounts across all stakeholders that result in endorsement of Abbott, and achieve long term profitable growth

  • Proven experience managing large cross-functional teams

  • Ability to influence team member activities (without direct reporting relationship)

  • Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or other advance degree preferred. The incumbent should have a history of seeking and undertaking self-development and self-improvement projects and opportunities.


  • 5+ years of related work with sales management experience. Prior experience and knowledge of the medical devices strongly preferred. Experience in growth and mature businesses as well as management of multiple product portfolios.
