Manage the categories of purchases under its responsibility, performing analysis and strategic activities - spend analysis, strategic sourcing, etc. - in order to generate and update pipeline projects of its category;

• Receive requests for purchases of materials and equipment and / or contracting services

• Identify qualified suppliers, previous purchase references, market prices, delivery times, etc .;

• Identify and develop new suppliers for the company, conducting appropriate research, collecting information from Abbott's public, credit, and global registration offices;

• Make quotes, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery times, service level, respecting the defined procedures and seeking the best cost-benefit ratio;

• Identify, negotiate and deliver target savings and DPO and develop relationships with mutually beneficial suppliers, aligned with the purchasing strategies and the company;

• To act as a partner of the customer areas in order to meet business expectations, seek alternatives to contracting services or acquisition of materials, contributing with new ideas and innovations to the business;

• Accompany the entire purchase process until the delivery of the product and / or service, acting also in the formalization of contract with the supplier and Legal Department;

• Maintain and guarantee all administrative controls established for the company's purchasing process, including SOX controls;

• Comply with all policies and procedures related to its activity;

• Conduct the actions and decisions under the responsibility of the position respecting the Code of Business Conduct of the company;

• Create and prepare monthly management reports - suppliers performance, savings, DPO, etc;

• Acting autonomously in the activities of the position, even in situations of greater complexity
