The Therapeutic Nutrition Sales (TNS) - Pediatrics is responsible for the promotion, management and growth of Abbott Nutritional products in hospitals and office settings. Specific emphasis will be on Children’ s Hospitals, Pediatric Gastroenterologists, Pediatric Allergists and Pediatricians with a focus on leading specialized nutrition brands (ELECARE, PediaSure, and PediaSure Peptide).

Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and supporting territory sales goals in each hospital and office service area for all therapeutic nutritional brands.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines; have the ability to deliver clinical and scientific benefits and information in a sales environment.

  • Work effectively with Clinical Nutrition Managers, Discharge Planners, Dietitians, HMEs and Physicians.

Qualification/Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must have excellent oral communication skills, proven clinical selling ability, strong analysis, creative planning and organizing abilities. Candidates must reside in territory being serviced or willing to relocate, as overnight travel is required.

  • A Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years of sales experience is required. Fields of Nutrition, Business and Communication preferred.

  • Registered Dietitian, Clinical Nutrition Manager, Nurse, hospital experience is preferred

  • Must have sales experience (passion, motivation, goal oriented)

Skills/Experience Requirements :

  • The ideal candidate will be technically knowledgeable with a minimum of two years sales experience.

  • Presentation skills are key as well as organizing group-teaching programs.

  • The ideal candidate must have excellent oral communication skills, strong analysis, creative planning and organizing abilities.

  • Candidates should have an understanding of the hierarchy of all hospital departments.

MISC:

  • Travel: 60% - 70%

  • Territory: Sacramento, Fresno, to Reno
