Abbott Manager - Area Training & Delivery Operations in Singapore, Singapore

Primary Job Function / Core Job Responsibilities

Area team leadership

  • Provide day to day management and leadership for staff

  • Performance expectations

  • Development opportunities

  • Hold consistent Team meetings

  • Hold consistent One on ones with staff

Training Delivery & Operations Budget owner for geography

  • Maintain accurate and current financial accounting and analysis for geography

  • Produces monthly reports of spend and LBE

  • Overall planning & gaiting for geography (LBE & Actuals)

  • Create and execute course costing and tracking

  • Execute charge back and ICB’s

  • Region training budget allocation and tracking (all countries in geography)

Area Delivery Schedule / Production reporting

  • Create area schedule for all courses using TNA and other input from TOC

  • Create rolling production schedule and review with Director, Training Delivery &

  • Operations along with Area staff weekly

Training delivery support for all countries within area/geography

  • Marketing and communications for courses

  • Schedules

  • Vendor management

Vendor / Faciliattor

  • Manage area vendor and facilitator relationships

  • Maintain list of preferred vendor and facilitator pools in critical market

  • Provide updates of pools to Global Training Administration minimally twice a year

Metrics

  • Produce monthly delivery metrics for area and provide to Global Training Administratior consolidation and rollup

  • Ad hoc training attendance reporting

  • Produce monthly analysis of training delivery metrics and provide data to Director,

Training Delivery & Operations

  • Coordination of in country translation reviews

  • Reponses to area ALD mailbox inquiries

Responsibilities:

Education:

 Bachelor’s degree required

Experience / Training Required:

 7 + years in learning and development

 Strong stakeholder management skills required

 Strong supplier management skills

 Strong project management skills

 Leadership presence

 Experience in leading and managing others virtually, especially in a matrixed environment

 Strong communication skills and ability to influence others
