Abbott Market Development Manager, SEA – Structural Heart in Singapore, Singapore
Develop and implement pricing strategies, negotiating with distributors and customers to achieve successful long term businesses success.
Manage direct marketing and training resources on education programs, product launches and other marketing and education related programs, according to regional strategies.
Responsible to develop local product strategy, tactical and implementation plan (with input from Business Manager), as well as organizing, executing and monitoring of marketing plans to achieve both short and long-term financial objectives and business growth.
Works with various internal and external functions to market assigned products within the area of responsibility by providing marketing support. This includes, but is not limited to, market assessments, forecasts, product backorder communications, conference participation and planning, new product/program launches and approval processes, and competitive updates.
Identifies unmet customer requirements and new business opportunities and provides vision and focus to move products from idea to market place
Bachelor's Degree Required, with minimum of 2+ years relevant marketing experience
Business Development and Sales Experience in medical devices / healthcare
Business Project Management, ability to multitask and work in a complex environment
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills including financial modelling, forecasting, and evaluating market data/ trends
Ability to travel up to 50%
