A fantastic leadership opportunity within our cardiology business in Ireland! We are recruiting for a sales manager to lead the CRM business across Ireland.
Reporting into the General Manager UK & Ireland, the National Sales Manager will develop strategic objectives for Ireland and translate into operating plans to grow sales and profit in line with agreed targets and build and lead a high performance team by hiring, training, coaching and developing direct reports.
The NSM must communicate the Company's vision, strategy and objectives throughout the CRM organization, to drive continuous improvement, functional effectiveness and cost efficiency. The NSM will ensure operational integrity and compliance with Abbott business practices and policies, legislative, clinical and regulatory requirements, role modelling Abbott's values.
Understanding the dynamics of the market, the healthcare and economic environment within Ireland, the NSM will also monitor activities and plans of Government Health Care institutions, industry associations, pressure groups, regulatory bodies, medical and scientific societies and sources of technical innovation, building and maintaining relationships with external decision influencers, including local Key Opinion Leaders.
The ideal candidate will be:
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience;
Possess 5+ years senior experience in devices industry, preferably within CRM or EP;
Results orientated, a strategic decision maker, problem solver, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
