Responsibilities:

  • To plan, facilitate and coordinate Physician education activities in the field of Tendyne Mitral Valve System;

  • To plan, manage and coordinate all education activities related to physician proctoring in the field of Tendyne Mitral Valve System;

  • To ensure compliance within the education SOP through different steps within the procedure;

  • To manage, plan and organize all proctoring activities within timely fashion;

  • Facilitate case coverage support wherever needed;

  • Coordination planning and alignment of Center Of Excellence activities;

  • Curriculum and on-boarding program development;

  • Benchmark process and outcomes;

  • Organize and facilitate feedback and follow up according to SOP.Ongoing performance assessment

  • Administrative support and coordination of employee courses Structural Heart Division.

  • Networks with technical engineering and clinical specialists and trainers within United States to ensure sharing of best practice and technical insights in a way that builds personal expertise, and adds educational value to the Company;Knowledge of the healthcare market

  • Maintains up to date knowledge of the healthcare market to:

  • Ensure awareness of and compliance with all relevant clinical, quality, regulatory and legislative requirements;

  • Enable all promotional aspects of educational activities to be conducted productively.Self-management and self-development

  • Operates in an ethical, disciplined and orderly way, focusing on the achievement of agreed educational objectives and protecting the value of Abbott property or resources wherever possible;

  • Encourages coaching and responds productively to feedback from management and other functional specialists as appropriate.Interpersonal communication and group facilitation

  • Develops written and oral skills, and the necessary level of interpersonal flexibility to ensure understanding by the range of individuals involved of all technical and educational communications;

  • Establishes information sources and networks with subject matter experts to build personal understanding and competence with instructional design and education best practice, appropriate for the different national cultures;

  • Maintains continual improvement programs for training, program delivery and execution to deliver optimum customer value;

  • Benchmark educational practices and outputs against same and differential industries.Compliance and Quality

  • Adheres to technical and clinical standards and practices applicable in the country and complies with Abbott quality standards, legal and regulatory requirements and the Code of Business Conduct;

  • Behaves at all times as a role model for the observance of the Abbott Code of Business Conduct.Minimum Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree in Business administration or similar through experience; Minimum 3 years office experience, preferably within the healthcare sector; Excellent organizational and negotiation skills; Previous experience with project management or education roles; Medical knowledge or work within such environment would be an asset; Fluency in English; Technology Savvy; strong working knowledge of computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook necessary; willing to learn to master other applications for Web publication, Database management and related); Experience and knowledge of a Learning Management System would be a strong plus; Proven administrative skills; sense of ownership, accurate and discreet; Highly organized; able to prioritize, work to deadlines with good monitoring/reporting skills; Good written / verbal communication skills; An active listener who is able to interpret, adapt and transmit (technical) information/message in a clear, structured and meaningful manner; Must be a team player, open-minded and flexible; Passionate and care about what we do.
