We are looking for a DevOps Manager to facilitate timely delivery of software and related artifacts from a highly skilled team. This position requires an organized individual able to handle multiple requests and a strong motivation to develop, mentor and manage a small team. This person will lead efforts to setup and maintain infrastructure for software development, patching, remote connectivity and licensing related to FDA Class II Medical Devices. They will support direct reports by providing focused technical guidance and functional leadership.

The individual chosen for this position must have a proven track record of working cooperatively in small to medium sized groups, as a member of a distributed team and have some experience supporting multiple geographical sites. Good communication skills, both oral and written, are a must for this position.

Required Education & Experience

  • 7 or more years experience in DevOps, including the following:

  • Linux based infrastructure setup including IPA/LDAP and AD Integration

  • Enterprise Server Software administration including distributed Version Control and Development Tool Integration

  • As a technical lead and/or people manager

  • BS in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering

  • Coordination or managing a Service delivery team.

  • Development CI Infrastructure (Perforce, Jira, Swarm, Confluence, Code Insight)

  • Software Delivery and Patching – Linux and Windows

  • Familiar with CyberSecurity framework including encryption, key management and vulnerability analysis

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide and develop employees to achieve their highest potential

  • Excellent follow through with an ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken form

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Networking, Routing, and Switch Configuration

  • Administration work with Relational Databases: MySQL, MariaDB and Oracle.

  • Testing including creation of Test Plans and Reports.

  • Experience with Vendor Management to include purchasing and contract review.

  • Ability to create clear documentation for team processes and infrastructure.

  • Previous experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices.

  • Linux Operating system Performance Tuning and Security enhancements

  • Scripting and Automation (sh, bash, perl, python, etc)

  • Administration of Storage Systems
