Primary Job Function:
Designs, prototypes, tests, and manufactures transcatheter heart valves throughout the product development process.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
1.Performs a variety of duties in the design, prototyping, testing, and manufacture of transcatheter heart valves.
Builds or assembles prototype materials, components, subassemblies and assemblies.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
Performs tests, analyzes data and writes reports
Reviews or develops processing or manufacturing instructions.
Maintains detailed documentation through all phases of development, testing and analysis.
May assist in the training and transfer of technology and/or contribute in cross functional discussions regarding device performance.
Supervisory / Management:
Works under that direction of an R&D engineer. Often working in a self-initiated manner, determining and pursuing courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
Position Accountability / Scope:
May provide work direction to other employees in work group.
Actively participates in comprehensive development of plans including an outline of duties and project assignments.
Demonstrates independence by prioritizing and completing assignments.
Solves unusually complex problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.
Develops information which extends the existing boundaries of knowledge in a given field. Troubleshoots problems
8+ years of TAVR/TMVR related experience or equivalent combination of education and technical work experience.
Thorough understanding of product or systems fundamentals in cross functional areas
