An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Senior Commercial Manager. Reporting to the Country Manager, this position will act as a strong and reliable business partner, providing leadership to the Nutrition business division across Australia and New Zealand with insightful business analytics to help drive accelerated yet sustainable and profitable growth.

The main aspects of this role include:

  • Leads the Planning and RLBE process and provides ANI Leadership with the confidence that Abbott will achieve its sales and profit growth forecast. Provides relevant and accurate financial assessments and information that will ensure achievement of corporate goals. Leads the identification of opportunities and risks and supports the development of alternative plans to realize opportunities and mitigate risks

  • Leads the Demand, Supply and Distribution functions. Supervises Demand Planning and S&OP process and reviews the related reports and outputs including Division and Area and S&OP submissions, ADS and TMS-IMS-DOH Reporting, among others

  • Establishes internal control measures, policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations that will support accelerated business growth

  • Develops performance dashboards/KPIs to deliver committed growth in a sustainable and profitable manner

  • Identifies areas for improvements -- revenue and margin enhancements, efficiencies and cost savings – and leads the related improvement project/s

  • Lead all financial matters related to any and all company projects and/or initiatives. As a Business Partner, provide sound business and financial advice to ANI Leadership

  • Lead the development of all Plan/LBE/LRP and other forecasts for ANI Philippines, ensuring reasonableness on an absolute, as well as, performance basis

  • Lead the preparation of Acceleration Plan, Strategic Plan, Mid-Term and Long-Term Plan with ANI Leadership Team

  • Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly Management reports in compliance with Corporate Reporting Requirements

  • Lead the Demand, Supply and Distribution functions. Drive operational excellence in these functional areas.

  • Supervise Demand Planning and S&OP process and reviews the related reports and outputs including Division and Area and S&OP submissions, ADS and TMS-IMS-DOH Reporting, among others. Ensure accuracy and alignment of these reports with the Plan, RLBE or Actuals

  • Establish and maintain adequate internal control measures, policies and procedures (that complies with and/or aligns to all Company Policies and Procedures) to ensure smooth and efficient operations that will support accelerated business growth.

  • Identify areas for improvements -- revenue and margin enhancements, efficiencies and cost savings – and leads the related improvement project.

  • Review and approve company’s commitment of funds for cost and expenses such as Advertising and Promotions, Trade Promotions, Discounts/Rebates/Sales Allowance/Incentives, Purchase Requisition/ Purchase Orders, Commission Payments, and all other Business Expenses.

  • Analyze, monitor, review and approve product prices

In addition to the above, the relevant experience is required:

  • Recognised accounting qualification to degree/diploma level, MBA is desirable

  • Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or recognised equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a commercial environment

  • Experience at a senior management level

  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a commercial environment

  • Experience at a senior management level

  • People management experience with responsibility for 3 to 4 professional accounting staff

  • Proven technical aptitude and experience in the Information Systems discipline

  • Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external people at all levels
