An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic Instrument Installation Specialist to join our expanding Diagnostics Division.

The main aspects of this role include:

  • Installation and commissioning of Abbott Alinity chemistry and immunoassay instruments in customer sites

  • Go above and beyond to provide technical support for the installation and commissioning process of instruments on customer sites

  • Respond to customer needs by partnering with Sales, Marketing and other functional areas while adhering to current compliance guidelines.

  • Learn from experienced peers and Project Manager who will be coordinating the Installer’s activities

  • Attend Applications Training course upon commencement

In addition to the above, the relevant experience is required:

  • Biomedical Science degree or similar – preferred

  • 1 year experience in Pathology lab – preferred

  • Experience on automated chemistry and/or immunoassay analysers - highly desirable

  • Experience with assay correlations – highly desirable

  • Knowledge of basic pathology lab practice

  • Knowledge of assay QC and calibration

  • Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment
