Abbott National Sales Manager - Modern Trade in Taguig City, Philippines

The National Sales Manager is responsible for setting and implementing the strategy and direction for Abbott’s key accounts. The incumbent has to be able to build a mutually beneficial business partnership between Abbott and his/her assigned accounts.

Direct Reports: 7

  • 5 Key Account Managers

  • 2 Customer Business Heads

Key Areas of Accountability:

  1. Volume

Targets: Deliver distributor sales targets. Monitor progress and develop plans to address variance

Forecast: Participate in the trade sales demand forecast

  1. Distribution
  • Responsible for the achievement of distributor Reach and Frequency objectives

  • Responsible for the achievement of distributor Call Effectivity objectives

  • Responsible for the achievement of Retail Performance Standards for distributor accounts

  1. Merchandising
  • Responsible for the execution of Merchandising guidelines amongst the distributor accounts

  • Responsible for the management of distributor Merchandising Funds

  1. Promotions
  • Responsible for the development, execution and evaluation of distributor in-store promotions

  • Responsible for the management of distributor Trade Promotion Funds

  1. Category Management

Drive CatMan Process with distributor customers

Job Specification

Knowledge & Experience:

  • With experience working as Distributor Supervisor/Manager and Key Account Manager for at least 3 years

  • Should have strong analytical skills, innovative and organized

  • Presentation and Negotiation Skills, Project Management, Business Analysis

  • Bachelor's degree, any Business and Marketing Course
