Abbott Product Specialist – Humira in Taguig City, Philippines
The Product Specialist is responsible for the development and management of his/her assigned geographic territory. Key responsibilities include: creating demand for the assigned brand/s through delivering scientific messaging, continuous medical education opportunities to HCP’s and strengthening customer partnerships.

Key Areas of Accountability:
Ability to engage and sustain conversations with HCP to uncover insight and tailor fit the discussion using approved communication plan
Provide insights into customer behavior and trends, spot potential business opportunities and recommend innovative ideas on how to partner with key accounts in building and calibrating brand/marketing strategy.
Create strategic account plans that includes product enlistment which can be replicated across the territory to achieve business objectives.
Analyze competitions market and industry trends to develop territory business strategies for profitable revenue generation and growth.
Communicate key forecast metrics based on patient numbers, consumption, inventory requirements across territory to meet Key Performance Indicators.
Support pricing strategies, implementation of patient centric programs & marketing activities to drive Key Performance Indicators.
Support Medical team in developing and maintaining the Key Opinion Leaders pool
Discuss therapeutic area and shape discussion to achieve a positive response from the key customers. Contribute in establishing strong customer knowledge and market intelligence.
Recommend potential Brand Team programs which will make a positive impact on patients’ lives.
Ensure all activities are executed with professionalism and in compliance with Abbott and AbbVie code of business procedures and practices, industry codes and is within all statutory requirements.
Knowledge & Experience:
Minimum 3-4 years of strong sales track record in Specialty Healthcare (preferably in a bio-pharmaceutical environment)
Excellent in verbal and written communication
Good analytical skills, results-oriented, self-motivated with the ability to interact effectively in all levels of management.
Good team player with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, good sound judgment, strong work ethic and has the ability to manage and motivate and work cross-functionally
Ability to communicate with the key stakeholders (Doctors, Pharmacists, Purchasers)
Proven good record on planning and organizational skills with great attention to details
Excellent in presentation skills
- College education - preferably pharmacy or science graduate
